Essential Housing Program

The Essential Housing Program provides attainable rents by reserving units for our moderate to middle-income, critical workforce, such as first responders, teachers, nurses, retailers, restauranteurs, law enforcement, and other workers. The program at Woodlands of Denton enables essential workers to live in communities where they work, avoiding a lengthy commute.

We accept housing vouchers.

Essential Housing Program Rental Rates

Qualifications

The applicant applying for an Essential Housing unit must fall between the respective annual income bracket and meet our 2.5x monthly income requirement.

What do I need to pre-qualify?

To begin the application, please present the following documents:

1. Complete application for every household member 18 years of age and older.

2. Proof of verifiable income.3. Additional documents may be required to verify depending on income and assets.


Our Workforce Housing program is monitored and audited by the City of Denton.
